Acceptance and eligibility

By using GarageMatch, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Informational service only

GarageMatch is an informational planning tool, not a repair manual, professional mechanical diagnosis, inspection, warranty, or substitute for advice from a qualified technician. Using the site does not create a mechanic-client, professional, fiduciary, or other advisory relationship. Check the manufacturer's current service information, safety procedures, specifications, recalls, and technical service bulletins before working.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for entering accurate vehicle information, confirming that you have the training and equipment needed, following applicable laws and safe procedures, and stopping whenever conditions are unsafe or uncertain. Never rely on GarageMatch as the sole source for torque values, lift points, fluid specifications, repair steps, or part compatibility.

Product listings and paid links

GarageMatch may earn from qualifying purchases through eBay links. Product matching is automated and may be incomplete or wrong. Third-party sellers control their listings, prices, shipping, returns, warranties, descriptions, and compatibility statements. GarageMatch is not the seller and does not complete or control those transactions.

Third-party services and links

GarageMatch relies on services and data supplied by OpenAI, NHTSA, EPA/DOE, eBay, sellers, and other third parties. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply when you use their services or leave GarageMatch. GarageMatch does not control their availability, content, security, policies, or conduct.

Accounts and acceptable use

Signed-in users are responsible for activity associated with their access. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious material, abuse external APIs, scrape the service at scale, or use GarageMatch unlawfully.

Availability and changes

The service and third-party data may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued without notice. GarageMatch may correct errors, remove features, limit abusive requests, or update these terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GarageMatch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for vehicle damage, injury, data loss, purchase disputes, or losses arising from reliance on the service.

This section does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and it does not remove non-waivable consumer rights. The scope of any limitation depends on the law that applies.

Governing law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This provision does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections provided by the law that otherwise applies to them.
